Today we had to write a paragraph of the rover launch. here is mine.
Did you know that Mars has a rover? The rover is called 2020 Perseverance. It got launched on July the 30th 2020. It launched at Cape Canaveral Air Force station Florida. It will land on Feb 18 2021 on Mars. The rover is going to look for more life on Mars. Then it will get some soil and rocks from Mars. Mars is called the red planet because of the colour of the planet. did you know that a long time ago Mars had lakes on it. People think that because it is red it is hot but it is actually cold like freezing cold. I didn’t even know that there was going to be a launch until we had to learn about it. I didn't know that it would take a long time to get to Mars. I thought it would take a few hours. I did not know what it would be like. I thought that we would be looking for more life later on but they are trying now.
