Eco systems
Today in science we had to catch up on our blogging and this is what I did this is about the Eco system. this is the video that we watched to answer these questions. This is the video that I watched.The big picture.
- What animals keep our jackets warm? birds, plant and slick worm
- What animal makes our boots waterproof? ducks
- Where does the water in our rivers come from?snow,rain
- Why do we need healthy rivers? because if we do not have healthy water then we will have no water to drink
- What are some of the good things about mosquitoes? the lava cleans the water from bacteria and they are food for fish and that fish is food for bigger fish and so on
- Why are bees dying? cell phone towers, pesticides,exotic mites and predators on the bees body
- What do bugs do to our leaves

- How much dung would we be in if there were no dung de- composers? 7 feat

shoe story

C.I.P colouring mindfulness
Today I C.I.P we watched a video about mindfulness colouring and we had to get into a group of three and go an answer some questions about this activity. When we talked about it we said what it is about and it is about someone who has a lot f stuff on there mind that is bad and they need something to do by them self if they do not want to talk about it. we could have some people go to the primary school and ask there principle if they can do this in there spare time. And write a letter to the warehouse and pack and save to get some prizes like girt shop vouchers. If you have eny ideas on what to do for prizes please leave it below.

The start of term 3 science
Science Badges:

- Lesson 1: This will be an Experiment that involves blogging. You will be expected to open a new post, copy Mr Palmer's blog and paste it on your new post.
- Lesson 2: This will be an Investigation that relates to the topic from Lesson 1. It will be own choice and displayed in a way that you prefer. For example - PowerPoint, Doc, etc

Expectations:
- 1 blog must be completed per Hurumanu lesson.
- A completed blog must have the four headings ( Aim, Method, Findings, Conclusion), correct writing and punctuation under each heading and be published. No post, no points.
- 2 images of the experiment / investigation on the blog.
Using the Scientific method of investigation:
Aim: What the experiment / investigation is about.
Method: Instructions on how the experiment / investigation is carried out. This includes the equipment.
Findings: What have we learnt or found out from our experiment / investigation. This is called Data, Information or Facts. It is displayed in a chart, table or picture.
Conclusion:
My Hurumanu Science Goals:
1. my first goal is to get a science badge.

P.E hurrmanu
Since the start of the term we have been doing P.E hurumanu called we are on each others team we have been learning about ki-o-rahi. The team that I am in is called dragons. In ki-o-rahi you need pou-poles ki-ball tupu-drum and two teams one is taniwha and kioma. This is a photo of my team. Please leave some feed back.

kindness chain
Today in C.I.P we watched a video about kindness we watched it because we are learning about kindness. In the video there is a man when it was his birthday and he did not have enough money to bye the cake that he wanted then a man paid for it and gave it to the boy and he had grown up and did the same to a little girl and said "when you have the chance can you help them?" In the video I notice that the person that started the chain got in the end. The kindness boomerang was helping people when they are in need. The men in the video toke notice when they could not afford it. what I thought about the video was about random acts of kindness. This is a video that I watched. music learning story

For the past term we have been doing music hurumanu and we work collaboratively luckily I can work successfully with others by talking about work and nothing else.

And when we blog and I get a comment I try to read them all but I can not read them all and follow up on that feedback.
But when we get to the work I finish on time because I am focussed and I do not talk to others unless they need help or are in my group.
When I am in a group I can understand others opinions and ideas by listening to them.
When we are not in the books I can be trusted on my device by being on the right thing at the right time.
My favorite task was making our own lyrics this is what I did for that task.
Hey you yeah you who says we don’t need friends are what we need friends to help us out when we are in need. Friends makes you comfortable when it gets nervous. We all need friends don’t be like the other kids who don’t have friends they are very lonely.
