scones

Aim: To look at different Kitchen ingredients in scones and their effects.

Recipe:

  • 1/2 cup Edmonds standard flour
  • 1 tsp Edmonds baking powder  or 1 tsp baking soda                  
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk, approximately or 1/4 cup lemonade.
The recipes my group chose were:

1. Normal
2. with lemonade
3. with baking soda


1. Name: with lemonade 

Ingredients:

  •  lemonade
  •  standerd flour
  •  baking powder
  • butter

2. Name: with baking soda

Ingredients: 

  • standerd flour
  • making soda
  • milk
  • butter
Materials:

1. plate
2. spoon 
3. bowl
4. tray
Process:for lemonade

Step 1: First put flour in a bowl
Step 2: next put then put baking powder in the bowl
Step 3: then put 2 teaspoons of butter in the bowl
Step 4: then put 1/4 a cup of lemonade in the bowl
Step 5: then mix
Step 6:after mixing shape then bake

Process:for normal

Step 1: put half a cup of flour I the bowl
Step 2: next put a teaspoon of baking powder in the bowl
Step 3: then put 2 teaspoons of butter in the bowl
Step 4: Then put 1/4 of a cup of milk in the bowl
Step 5: then mix

Step 6: then shape and bake
Process:for baking soda

Step 1: put half a cup of flour in the bowl
Step 2: next put a teaspoon of baking soda

Step 3: then put 2 teaspoons of butter
Step 4: then put 1/4 a coup of milk
Step 5: then mix


Step 6: then shape and bake
Findings:

Conclusion:

All scones were cooked for ten minutes. All the scones was cooked at 200 degrees. The normal scone
was 5.00 cm high but the taste was dry but the color was nice and white. Then we tasted the lemonade
one and it was 4.5 cm and it tasted a bit sweet and the color was creamy. Then we tasted the baking
soda one it was four cm and it tasted moist but the color was brownImage result for plain scones
