In literacy I have been learning about vocabulary for more impact we looked at a picture and thought critically about it. We used reflective questions to think about the picture. We had to write what we think happened 5 mins before and after what happened. I found challenging looking at the picture and trying to think what happened before and after.

christmas traditions and food

We are learning about Christmas traditions around. Yesterday I learned the in Poland the polish people call Christmas eve the 'festival of the star'. Often they \don't eat anything until it gets dark and the first star appears then they start to have a feast. One place at the table is left for the Christ child. The boys in the family dress up as wise men and bring presents for all the family members. Can you tell me about some other Christmas traditions from around the world? what do you do?
