Today we had to do freeze frame about a book called bok choy then we had to do some freeze frames about the book here is the photo.

Today we had to do reading i did questions before so now I am doing a dlo for my dlo I am doing a book cover again on canva. I chose the sea because most of the story he is fishing and then later on the seals swim off. Hope you like this. Please leave some feed back.

Tom and the look around

Today we had to read another book an answer questions and then do a dlo but i am answering the questions so here they are. hope you enjoy. please leave some feedback.

Why was Tom angry? Tom was angry because he did not want to spend time with his granddad. he wanted to be on technology and see his friends.

Did he handle his anger well? He handled some of his anger by yelling at his mum and then did it well by going fishing and being with his new friend the seal. 

Is there anything he could have done differently? I think he could of just agreed to his mum and go to his granddads house and dealed it by fishing.

How did Tom feel when he began to calm down? He felt safe and and felt like the seal could trust him.

Is there similarities/differences between Tom's story and the Kekeno? In the story he said that is dad left him so i think that is what they have in similar is that one of there parents left them.

Can you relate to Tom in any way? I can not relate except for yelling at his mum i have done that but reading that story just made me realise to be nice to my mum and dad because i am lucky to have both of them.

Tapa Cloth

Today i had to charcoal my tapa cloth yesterday i inked it which made it more brown i added some more design to it. The charcoal makes the picture pop out because the crayon got hidden when we panted it with ink. Hope you enjoy. Please leave some feedback. 

Bok Choy Book Cover

Today we had to read a book and answer questions. Then we made a dlo we have a choice of what dlo to do. I chose to make a new book cover. Here is mine, hope you enjoy. Please leave some feedback. I chose to design my cover like this because in the book he falls into a river from fishing and nearly drowns and passes out. I chose these colours so it lightens up the cover.

The present

How would you describe the boy at the start of the video? The boy at the start of the video is a person that would stay on his game for the whole day.

What did he think of his present? At first he thought that it was yuck and threw it away but then realised that it was not.

How do you know? I know because in the video he through the dog away and then later on he started to play with the dog.

Why did he feel that way? He felt that way because he thought that it was not going to be able to the same thing that other dogs do with four legs

What lesson did the boy learn by the end of the film? He learnt that no matter what everyone can do anything they want to even if that are small or have one less arm or leg

Why is it important to be grateful for what we have? It is important to be grateful because people suffer from not having every thing that we have and we need to be grateful for the things we have and not have.

Describe Jacob'’s personality. He is wise helpful and grateful.

Why did Jacob run off? Jacob ran off because he knew he was in danger.

How did Jacob feel when he woke up? Jacob felt scared not knowing where he was or if he is dead when he woke up.

How does the author feel about racism? The author feels like everyone matters.

Predict what would happen if Ah Sum had not seen Jacob in the river? I think Jacob would of drowned if he did not see him.

What does 'ancestors' mean? it is someone that has been alive before your grandparents for example your grandma's mum and dad.
